Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University claimed the University Volleyball Championship title, which concluded on Saturday, 28 February 2026. The tournament was organized by the Saudi University Sports Federation and hosted by King Abdulaziz University at the Sports Village courts. The competition ran from 26 to 28 February, featuring eight Saudi universities.

 

The championship trophy was presented to the winning team by the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Fouad Abu Laban, in the presence of the Assistant President of the Saudi University Sports Federation, Mr. Ali bin Abdullah Al-Munai.

 

In the final, Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University secured the title after defeating King Abdulaziz University 3-2. King Abdulaziz University finished second, while King Saud University placed third.

 

The tournament concluded following high-level performances and strong competitive spirit among the participating teams, reflecting continued efforts to support university sports and enhance its role in discovering and developing talent within the academic environment.

 

The championship forms part of broader initiatives to promote university sports and strengthen competition among university students, contributing to talent identification and the development of physical and technical skills in an organized and motivating environment.
